If it rolls, zips, or straps shut—you can probably store it.
But there are a few important rules to keep things secure, safe, and simple for everyone.

We accept a wide variety of personal travel items at all Luggage Drop locations, including:

• Carry-ons & suitcases (soft or hard-shell)
• Backpacks & daypacks
• Duffel bags & sports bags
• Garment bags
• Shopping bags
• Stroller frames
• Musical instruments (like guitars or violins)
• Laptops or electronics bags (as long as sealed and stored inside a larger bag)

Bonus: Our locations charge by the bag, not by size or weight. Extra Oversized? Just let us know after booking so we can confirm space.

🚫 Items You Cannot Store

To protect our hosts, travelers, and the community, the following items are strictly prohibited:

• 🔥 Hazardous materials (fuel, flammable items, batteries outside of devices)
• 🐶 Live animals or pets
• ❄️ Perishable food or temperature-sensitive goods
• 💊 Illegal substances or prescription meds
• 💼 Large sums of cash, passports, or valuables you wouldn’t leave unattended
• 🔫 Weapons of any kind (real or replica)
• 🧪 Chemicals or biohazardous materials

💡 If a location finds a prohibited item inside your luggage, they may contact support and reserve the right to decline storage.

Need to store something unusual like:

• A large musical instrument (upright bass, keyboard, etc.)

We recommend messaging us or checking with the location directly. Some of our partner hosts have larger storage spaces or secure backrooms and can accommodate with advance notice.
