Prohibited Items and Luggage Size Limits

We keep things simple, safe, and secure—for everyone.

While most standard bags are welcome, there are a few items we can’t accept for safety, legal, or storage reasons.

❌ Prohibited Items

The following items are not allowed at any Luggage Drop location:

• 🔫 Weapons (including replicas or anything resembling a weapon)
• 💊 Illegal drugs or substances
• 💵 Cash, passports, or other high-value personal documents
• 🔥 Flammable materials or hazardous chemicals
• ❄️ Perishables or temperature-sensitive food
• 🧬 Biological or medical materials
• 🐶 Live animals or insects
• 💣 Explosives or fireworks
• 🚫 Anything that smells strong, leaks, or could damage other bags

If a prohibited item is discovered, the host may refuse the booking and notify support.

📏 Luggage Size Limits

We’re flexible! Most locations can handle a wide variety of bags, including:

• ✅ Carry-ons, checked luggage, backpacks, duffels
• ✅ Strollers, instrument cases, sports bags
• ✅ Oversized items (with advance notice)

That said, there are some size considerations:

• Most locations accept items up to roughly 32" x 22" x 15" (81 x 56 x 38 cm) without any special coordination or approval.
• Heavier or bulky items (like skis, bikes, or surfboards) may require special storage or approval—reach out to support before booking

📦 How Bags Should Be Packed

To keep things tidy and prevent any issues:

• Zip and close all compartments
• Use sturdy bags (no loose boxes or open totes)
• Label each bag with your name or booking number if possible
• Don’t overstuff—bags must be easy to move and store safely
