Reviews are one of the most powerful tools in building trust with future Travelers. A great rating helps you stand out, attract more bookings, and even qualify for higher earnings and special programs.
Here’s how the Luggage Drop review system works — and how to make it work for you.
✍️ How Reviews Work
After each completed reservation, Travelers are asked to rate their experience with your Drop Spot.
They can:
Leave a star rating (1 to 5 stars)
Add an optional written comment
Note anything helpful, missing, or unexpected
Reviews are visible to future Travelers on your Drop Spot listing. They’re also reviewed by the Luggage Drop Team for quality monitoring.
🎯 What Ratings Affect
Your average rating helps determine:
Your visibility on the platform (higher ratings = more bookings)
Eligibility for special promos or feature placement
Qualification for programs like “Top Host” or early access to premium features
Internal performance benchmarks used by Luggage Drop to support or spotlight your location
🧠 How to Get Great Reviews
Here are a few simple ways to earn consistent 5-star ratings:
Greet Travelers politely and thank them for choosing your spot
Keep bags stored securely and out of public view
Be available during posted hours
Complete check-ins and check-outs quickly using the dashboard
Keep your business tidy, friendly, and welcoming — especially if you’re a café, retail shop, or service space
Even if Travelers are only stopping by for 5 minutes, that brief interaction can make a big impression.
🚫 What If You Get a Bad Review?
It happens. If you receive a negative review:
Don’t panic — one-off reviews rarely affect your overall standing
Luggage Drop HQ will review flagged comments for fairness or policy violations
If a review seems inaccurate or unfair, report it through your Host Dashboard
We may remove the review if it violates platform guidelines or is clearly unrelated to the storage experience.
💬 Can Hosts Leave Reviews for Travelers?
Not at this time. However, your internal rating of Traveler behavior does influence their standing on the platform, and Luggage Drop tracks no-shows, payment issues, or behavior problems.
